Social Activities

The 2017 APACS National Conference will feature two social events to allow delegates to catch up with colleagues, make new connections and maximise the networking opportunities a National Conference provides.

As the Conference program is so varied, it caters for Beginner, Mid-Career and Experienced Practitioners allowing for plenty of opportunities to extend your professional networks across a broad spectrum of
areas of interest.

Conference networking will allow you:

• To meet State and National leaders of School Counselling and Psychology

The Official Conference will kick off at 6.00 pm where you will hear from the APACS Committee and obtain details of what is in store throughout the 2017 Conference. The Conference Welcome Reception will kick off straight after the Official Conference Opening, where delegates will be able to enjoy a more laid-back atmosphere complete with live music, canapés and beverages for your enjoyment. It’s a time to catch up with old friends and make some new contacts.

The Conference Welcome Reception is included in all full conference registrations.

Additional Welcome Reception Tickets for day delegates or accompanying guests are available for purchase at $60.00 per person and can be purchased at the time of registering online.

After a full day of conferencing, it’s time to let your hair down as we celebrate the Psychology and Counselling profession within schools. So come along, kick up your heels and make sure you don’t leave your dancing shoes at home. Delegates will be entertained by a swing band in the beautiful, King Edward Ballroom at the Rendezvous Hotel and enjoy a three course dinner and beverages.

Additional Conference Dinner Tickets for day delegates or accompanying people will be available at a cost of $115.00 and can be purchased at the time of registering online.
